As they continue to expand their acquiring capabilities, they are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the evolution of their card acquiring platform, helping improve payment performance, merchant experience and product scalability.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines deep card payments expertise with a data-driven approach and enjoys working at the intersection of product, technology and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the design and development of core card acquiring products, ensuring scalable, resilient and commercially effective payment capabilities.
  • Lead integrations with card schemes, acquirers and payment partners, managing technical implementation, testing and certification activities.
  • Drive payment success rate improvements through initiatives including smart routing, authentication optimisation and transaction flow enhancements.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to leverage machine learning and analytics in transaction decisioning and performance optimisation.
  • Analyse failed transaction trends and identify opportunities to improve acceptance rates across geographies, issuers and customer segments.
  • Enhance merchant integration journeys by improving APIs, technical documentation and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, risk, operations, sales and customer support teams to prioritise and deliver high-impact product initiatives.
  • Use data, experimentation and business insight to shape product roadmaps and measure the success of new features and enhancements.

  • Strong knowledge of card payments, including 3D Secure 2.0, tokenisation, PCI-DSS and wider card scheme ecosystems.
  • Experience working with Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, acquiring banks or third-party payment providers would be highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and able to translate complex payment requirements into clear product outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making; exposure to SQL, Python, R or similar tools is beneficial.
  • Exposure to smart routing, payment optimisation platforms, A/B testing or experimentation frameworks would be advantageous.
