Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Compliance Counsel based in Spain for a remote-first international team. You will ensure digital products, marketing practices, and AI features align with EU/US laws, working closely with Product and Marketing to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

You will monitor regulatory developments, contribute to training programs, and help implement governance controls in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
• Knowledge of EU and US consumer protection laws for digital products.
• Understanding of EU/US marketing and advertising compliance.
• Familiarity with EU and US digital regulation and AI governance.
• Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• Strong English and Russian language skills (min B2).
• Strong analytical, research, and risk translation abilities.
• Attention to detail and risk communication across teams.
• Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative in a remote, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Product Compliance: Review specs for websites/apps, ensure legal and platform policy compliance; assess feature risks; participate in audits.
• Marketing Compliance: Review materials for consumer protection and advertising standards; advise on risks and corrective actions.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Track EU and US developments; communicate updates to teams.
• Sanctions Compliance: Track sanctions regulations and support internal policies.
• Compliance Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver training; maintain guidance resources.
• AI Compliance and Governance: Review AI features; support governance frameworks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Marketing, and others to integrate compliance into development.
