Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Counsel, Data Privacy & AI based in Spain to lead privacy, data protection, and AI governance for its global employment technology platform. You will advise Product, Engineering, Security, IT, and business teams, embedding privacy-by-design and responsible AI practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of GDPR, data transfers, DPIAs/PIAs, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance on privacy, data protection, and AI governance across the product lifecycle.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs, SCCs, and data-use terms in commercial agreements.
• Advise Product/Engineering/Security teams on privacy-by-design and responsible AI practices.
• Lead regulatory interpretation, risk assessment, and policy development to support international operations.
• Coordinate DPIAs/PIAs, data mapping, and vendor assessments across jurisdictions.
• Support incident response, breach notification, and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal and business objectives.
