CloudLinux, a remote-first company, seeks an experienced backend engineer to own automated pipelines turning threat intel into protective rules for millions of websites. You will design scalable data pipelines, implement guardrails, and ensure reliable production systems in a distributed environment.

The role emphasizes building observable, resilient infrastructure with clear state machines, testing, and end-to-end automation. Remote work with flexible hours is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend / platform / infrastructure engineering experience.
• Demonstrable experience building and operating multi-stage data or automation pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of at least one of Python, Go or Rust.
• Strong systems design judgment and debugging skills.
• Hands-on observability experience with Prometheus/Grafana or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, building and operating the automated pipelines described above, end to end.
• Turning multi-stage batch jobs into resumable, observable systems with explicit state machines and recovery paths.
• Defining latency budgets and SLOs per stage and making violations visible and actionable.
• Building the observability layer with metrics and dashboards.
• Designing guardrails for automatic hold, rollback and safe-default behavior.
