Social Discovery Group in Valladolid, Spain, seeks a Senior Data Engineer (Cloud) for a full-remote role. You will migrate data workloads to a modern cloud platform, optimize pipelines, and collaborate with analysts to ensure data quality and reliable delivery.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and a deep GCP stack, plus experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data models. Fluent Russian is required. Remote work with potential global collaboration is offered.

Formación

• Advanced SQL and relational database experience.
• Hands-on experience with the GCP data stack (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GCS).
• Proficient in Python and data engineering workflows.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical data models.
• Experience deploying and operating managed cloud data services (workflow orchestration, serverless compute, analytical warehouses).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts: IAM, networking, monitoring, CI/CD.
• Fluent Russian.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate data products and analytical workloads from MS SQL Server to a modern cloud data platform.
• Analyze legacy SQL, ETL processes and business logic and redesign them for the target architecture.
• Build and maintain scalable batch data pipelines and analytical models.
• Validate migrated data, investigate discrepancies and ensure data quality.
• Work with analysts and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and business logic.
• Contribute to platform reliability, performance, cost optimization and engineering practices.
• Develop and improve AI-assisted engineering automation for Data Engineering workflows.
