Euro Staffs is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a personal injury practice on a remote, independent contractor basis. The ideal candidate is based outside the U.S. and has prior experience assisting U.S. PI attorneys, with overlapping hours to a U.S.-based team.

Key duties include client communication, case management, and trial preparation, while handling administrative tasks remotely. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and familiar with Filevine or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Must have worked for a U.S.-based Personal Injury law firm.
• Pre-litigation and litigation experience in Personal Injury.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Previous experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or administrative assistant (personal injury law preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with legal case management software (Filevine preferred).

Responsabilités

• Serve as first point of contact for clients and handle scheduling.
• Open and maintain client files in the case management system.
• Draft correspondence and simple legal documents under supervision.
• Monitor deadlines, hearings, and trial dates.
• Schedule client meetings, depositions and medical appointments.
• Organize exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Perform general office tasks such as scanning, filing, and managing mail.
• Collaborate with attorneys, assistants and investigators.
