Job summary

Euro Staffs is seeking a Legal Assistant with U.S. personal injury litigation experience to support our PI practice on a remote, independent contractor basis. Ideal for candidates outside the U.S. who can align with U.S. hours and collaborate with a U.S.-based team.

The role emphasizes client-facing support, case management, and preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials in a fast-paced legal environment.

Qualifications

• Remote experience for a U.S.-based law firm required.
• Experience handling U.S. personal injury cases.
• Personal injury litigation experience required.
• Experience supporting attorneys with active U.S. litigation.
• Knowledge of U.S. personal injury procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word).
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Available during U.S. working hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and case support to attorneys handling personal injury matters.
• Support cases through active litigation.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and case materials.
• Assist with discovery and track discovery requests and responses.
• Monitor case deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other important dates.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding case-related matters.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, insurance companies, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed.
• Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Review case information and ensure required documentation is obtained and properly maintained.
• Accurately enter and update case information in the firm's case management system.
• Follow established case-management procedures and workflows.
• Handle confidential client and case information appropriately.
• Perform other legal support duties as assigned.
