Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in protection and control system design
- 3+ years designing detailed design specifications for P&C algorithms
- Extensive experience in power system protection, automation and control product development
- Proven track record of publishing and presenting at industry forums
Responsibilities
- Create detailed design specifications for protection and control algorithms.
- Conduct proof-of-concept studies using PSCAD/RTDS/MATLAB-Simulink.
- Lead root cause analysis of protection algorithm incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Author technical papers and present at trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare training material and deliver trainings when required.
- Identify opportunities for patentable innovations.
- Provide guidance and training to new engineers and technicians.
- Analyze market trends to inform product development.
