Quvia is seeking a Solutions Engineer to interface with customers and identify their needs, architecting satellite communication solutions for maritime deployments. You will work with network engineers, sales, product and service delivery to ensure plans are executed and customer expectations are met.

You will conduct site surveys, oversee installation and testing of Quvia systems on maritime verticals, and develop thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in satellite communications, with a focus on maritime.
• Strong understanding of satellite communication systems, including VSAT, L-band, and Ku-band technologies.
• Proficiency in networking concepts, IP routing, and RF engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and design tailored satellite communication solutions.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for new customers
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems on maritime verticals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and services provided.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers, offering guidance on best practices and optimal usage of satellite communication systems.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of satellite systems.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in Quvia systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and service delivery, to ensure successful project execution.
