Job summary

FOSSA Systems, a Spanish space engineering firm based in Madrid, seeks a technical presales professional to support sales through expert guidance, PoCs, and solution design across satellites, ground stations, devices and software.

You will present demonstrations, translate customer needs into architectures, and collaborate with product teams to align market demands with innovative IoT satellite solutions.

Qualifications

• 2/3+ years of international presales, sales engineering, or technical customer-facing experience.
• Background in Telecom, IoT, Satellite, Connectivity, or related tech sectors highly preferred.
• Spanish (native or fluent) and professional English required; additional languages are an asset.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fast learner with autonomy and collaborative mindset.
• Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team throughout the full cycle with clear, credible technical expertise.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and adapt messages to technical and executive audiences.
• Conduct product demonstrations on-site, online, or at industry events.
• Analyze customer needs and assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into high-level solution architectures (satellites, ground stations, devices, software).
• Serve as the main technical contact for PoCs, ensuring successful delivery and satisfaction.
• Prepare, adapt, and maintain technical documentation, proposals, and presentation materials.
• Lead the technical response for tenders, RFIs, and RFQs with clarity and competitiveness.
• Produce competitive analysis reports and battle cards to support business development.
• Maintain deep understanding of IoT, LoRa®, and LE0 satellite technologies and market trends.
