Job summary

Welocalize Life Sciences is seeking a Multimedia Content Reviewer to write and review linguistic content with native-level proficiency to ensure top-quality results for our clients on global multimedia platforms.

In this role you will localize content across categories, write new copy for music, TV, games and apps, and perform linguistic reviews and LQA testing. You will collaborate with a multicultural localization team and work remotely from Spain.

Qualifications

BS/BA in journalism, copywriting, or related field, with writing samples.
2+ years' experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content.
Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
Fluency in written and verbal English; strong linguistic judgement.
Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Localize, translate and adapt content across categories while following style guides.
Write copy for multimedia products (music, TV, app store, video on demand, games).
Perform linguistic reviews of own work and that of teammates.
Copy-edit and fact check content for accuracy.
Conduct LQA testing on live content (descriptions, marketing materials).
Conduct market-specific research on content trends and localization practices.
Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics.
Report on data and assets across media content.
Create training materials to train team on terminology and style.
Collaborate with global language team via meetings and emails to calibrate terminology.
