Placements24 is seeking a dedicated remote Chemical Engineer with a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) to join a dispersed global team. You will develop and implement HSE policies, conduct risk assessments remotely, and advise operations worldwide from your home office.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental/Safety Engineering, 5+ years in HSE within chemical or process industries, and hands-on experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental/Safety Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in HSE roles within the chemical or process industry.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management principles, and incident investigation techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and update Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures for chemical operations.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and hazard analyses for existing and new processes.
• Investigate safety incidents and environmental excursions, determining root causes and recommending preventative measures.
• Provide expert HSE advice and support to operational teams globally through virtual channels.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international HSE regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training materials and continuous engagement initiatives.
