Envision seeks a Remote Control Operations Centre Engineer to ensure optimal performance of global BESS and onshore wind fleets. This role operates in a 24/7 shift, handling advanced troubleshooting via SCADA, and acting as escalation for turbine failures to minimize downtime and sustain high asset availability.

You will coordinate critical alerts, perform remote interventions, and contribute to continuous improvement by documenting resolutions and mentoring junior operators.

Formación

• Degree or higher vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in BESS and/or Wind energy operations, with a remote-control centre or senior wind/BESS technician background.
• Experience with major onshore wind turbine platforms or major BESS manufacturers and SCADA software from OEMs or commercial platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in renewables technology, reading electrical diagrams, and analyzing technical logs.
• Professional proficiency in English; Spanish/Portuguese/French/German are assets.

Responsabilidades

• Act as escalation point for complex faults, managing real-time onshore wind farm operations.
• Perform deep-dive technical diagnostics using high‑tier SCADA systems and proprietary software.
• Execute advanced remote-control sequences, safety resets, and synchronized restarts to maximize turbine efficiency.
• Coordinate alerts, communicate with back offices and field technicians, and liaise with Service management during outages or grid constraints.
• Analyse fault patterns, document resolutions, and mentor junior operators to improve team efficiency.
