Envision is seeking a Remote Control Operations Centre Engineer to ensure optimal performance of global BESS and onshore wind fleets. The role requires working a 24/7 shift schedule with advanced remote interventions via SCADA and escalation management to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability.

Responsibilities include complex fault escalation, real-time monitoring, and coordination with back offices and field technicians.

Formación

• Degree or higher vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in BESS and/or Wind energy operations, with a proven track record in a remote-control centre or as a Senior Wind Turbine or BESS Technician.
• Experience with major onshore wind turbine platforms or major BESS manufacturers and SCADA software from OEMs or commercial platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in renewables technology, analysing technical logs, reading electrical diagrams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills under high-pressure scenarios.

Responsabilidades

• Advanced Monitoring: Escalation point for complex faults, managing real-time onshore wind farm operations and performance.
• SCADA-Based Troubleshooting: Use SCADA systems to diagnose persistent errors, curtailments, and shutdowns.
• Remote Intervention & Resets: Execute remote-control sequences, safety resets, and synchronized restarts.
• Incident Management: Coordinate critical alerts, liaise with back offices and field technicians during outages or grid constraints.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyse fault patterns, document resolutions, mentor junior operators, contribute to LEAN initiatives.
