Job summary

N-iX is seeking a GenAI Adoption Lead/AI Architect for a freelance, part-time role. The position offers remote work from Spain with flexible formats and opportunities to shape enterprise AI transformation for a leading healthcare client.

The role combines hands-on GenAI architecture, agentic engineering, and governance to drive measurable outcomes. You will drive discovery, design the AI-enabled SDLC, and collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to implement scalable AI

Qualifications

• Lead the discovery and AI adoption assessment across the SDLC, AI usage, architecture, tooling, processes, and team readiness.
• Own the definition of GenAI solution architecture and implementation approach, including integrations with engineering environments, repositories, Jira/Confluence, CI/CD, and related systems.
• Translate discovery findings into a prioritized transformation roadmap with dependencies, risks, architecture decisions, and priorities.
• Define measurable success criteria, select an anchor project and pilot workflows, and establish baseline AI impact metrics.
• Lead pilot execution end-to-end, validate results, and turn learnings into reusable AI engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical discovery and AI adoption assessment, working with engineering teams and stakeholders to evaluate the current SDLC, AI usage, architecture, tooling, processes, and team readiness.
• Assess existing AI/agentic framework, identify gaps, and define the target state.
• Own GenAI solution architecture and implementation approach, including integrations with environments, repositories, and related systems.
• Translate findings into a prioritized transformation roadmap with dependencies, risks, and implementation priorities.
• Define governance, observability, telemetry, and auditability in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead pilot execution end-to-end and turn learnings into reusable AI engineering practices.
