Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer (FSE) to service customers across the territory and nationally. The role involves installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance with opportunities to promote service agreements.

The candidate will travel domestically, attend product training in the US within the first year, and participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotations. A driver’s license and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting/repair of electro-mechanical/electronic systems.
Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Build trust with customers, promote service agreements, and identify sales opportunities.
Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
Attend 6–9 weeks of product training at Durham, NC or St. Louis, MO offices.
Travel for customer visits with occasional overnight travel; participate in on-call rotation.
Complete service work orders and QA checklists; submit travel expense reports.
