Abbott seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform planned maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, and to back up first-line service. The role includes assisting with installations, deinstallations, and travel within the service area while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s/Engineering degree in Medical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biology, or Biomedical Technology, with proven customer-facing experience and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Engineering degree preferred in Medical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biology, or Biomedical Technology.
• Proven track record in a similar position with management and customer references.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with laboratory staff.
• Strong experience using analytical tools and software; good computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line service to customers with interventions under 4 hours.
• Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM/PdM).
• Schedule and document hardware and software updates (TSBs).
• Assist with instrument installations and deinstallations.
• Travel within the service area (approx. 25%).
