Job summary

Tether is seeking an Event Design Coordinator to manage the intake, production, and QA of event-related creative requests across the business. You will work with designers to turn fast-turnaround requests into flawless deliverables, including booth graphics, signage, decks, digital assets, swag, and invites.

You will catch risks early, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery while maintaining a proactive, organized approach to cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, creative operations, or project management with a strong events component.
• Proven experience managing print and digital production processes; you know what a dieline is, what safe area means, and why RGB assets can t go straight to print.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills: demonstrated ability to manage several concurrent, cross-functional requests with competing deadlines.
• Sharp attention to detail, comfortable being the last line of defense before a deliverable ships.
• Experience reviewing and giving actionable feedback on creative work from designers, without needing to be a designer yourself.
• A proactive, risk-first mindset: you naturally ask what could go wrong here? and build a plan around the answer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable managing stakeholders across different teams with different priorities.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar) and design review tools like FigmaExperience setting up shared drive structures or asset libraries for teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish / Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Request Intake & Triage: Serve as the primary contact for event-related creative requests across teams. Define deliverables, timelines, formats, and constraints; flag conflicts and propose plans.
• Design Collaboration & Project Management: Brief designers with clear specs; manage multiple workstreams and deadlines; track status and surface bottlenecks.
• Quality Assurance (Print & Digital): Review designer deliverables for brand consistency, copy accuracy, resolution, color mode, bleed/trim/safe zones, file formats, and platform specs.
• Event Documentation & Knowledge Management: File all assets, briefs, and final deliverables in a shared drive with a clear structure; keep vendor details and lessons learned.
• Risk & Logistics Ownership: Anticipate delays, lead times, and scope changes; build contingency plans and coordinate with vendors.
• Cross-Team Partnership: Act as a liaison between requesters and design teams to protect timelines and ensure clarity of briefs.
• Continuous Improvement: Improve intake and review processes based on past events.
