Job summary

IQVIA in Madrid is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Real-World Solutions team. You will analyze healthcare data using SAS/SQL in a German-speaking context and deliver client-ready insights from a Madrid Center of Excellence.

The role requires a life sciences or related degree, strong analytical skills, and fluency in German and English. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary environment and produce reports and presentations for top pharma clients.

Qualifications

Completed degree in life sciences, public health, health economics, (bio)informatics, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, or a comparable field.
Experience in data analysis, biostatistics, or epidemiology; excellent knowledge of at least one statistical programming language.
Programming in SAS or knowledge in the analysis of healthcare data is a plus.
Fluent in German and English; strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Team player in an international, multidisciplinary team.
Confident use of Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and organize analytical tasks as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

Performing strategic analyses to derive trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations from qualitative and quantitative data.
Evaluating secondary data on markets, physicians, pharmacists, patients, and competitive products.
Working in close collaboration with our top pharma client's business intelligence units.
Creating reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
