Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Analyst (SAS/SQL) fluent in German to join our Madrid Center of Excellence. You will run analyses on real-world data, evaluate health market information, and deliver client-ready reports and presentations.

The role requires a degree in life sciences or related fields, and strong analytical skills with proficiency in SAS/SQL and Office tools. German and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in life sciences, public health, health economics, (bio)informatics, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, or a comparable field of study.
• Relevant experience in data analysis, biostatistics, or epidemiology and knowledge of at least one statistical programming language.
• Programming in SAS or knowledge in the analysis of healthcare data is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a customer-/solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent in German and English for client conversations; strong written and spoken communication.
• Team player able to work in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficient in Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic analyses (recurring and ad hoc) to derive trends and actionable recommendations for clients in healthcare.
• Evaluate secondary data on markets, physicians, patients and products.
• Collaborate with the client and business intelligence units to deliver insights.
• Create reports, presentations and other client deliverables.
