Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Analyst (SAS/SQL) who speaks German for our Madrid Center of Excellence. You will run analyses on real-world data and deliver client-ready reports for pharmaceutical and healthcare projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a multicultural setting.

The ideal candidate brings a life sciences-related degree and strong analytical skills, with proficiency in SAS or other statistical programming, and fluency in German and English for client interactions.

Qualifications

Degree in life sciences, public health, health economics, (bio)informatics, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, or equivalent.
Experience in data analysis/biostatistics/epidemiology with at least one statistical programming language.
SAS programming is advantageous; strong analytical, client-focused mindset.
Fluency in German and English in client conversations; strong written and spoken communication.
Team player; able to work in international, multidisciplinary teams; proficient with Excel/PowerPoint.
Independent, organized in delivering analytical tasks within projects.

Responsibilities

Perform strategic analyses (recurrent and ad hoc) to derive trends and actionable client insights.
Evaluate secondary data on markets, physicians, patients, and products.
Collaborate with BI units of pharma clients; produce reports and client deliverables.
