Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer for a fully remote role based in Spain. You will design, build, and improve practical AI systems for nonprofit partners, spanning healthcare, agriculture, education, and development sectors.

You will work with scientists, researchers, and engineers to translate research into scalable products and reusable resources. Responsibilities include deploying production AI, evaluating systems, and contributing open-source tooling while mentoring partner

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in mathematics, deep learning, LLMs, and modern AI systems.
• At least 4 years hands-on ML engineering delivering end-user AI products.
• 1–2 years building LLM-powered applications including production-grade agents.
• Experience evaluating AI systems with solid dataset design and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve AI-powered applications for real-world use cases.
• Contribute to open-source AI evaluation infrastructure and tools.
• Mentor partner staff and help strengthen responsible AI practices.
• Document decisions and maintain engineering standards.
• Deliver solutions through rapid development and measurable feedback.
