Job summary

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Business Operations Manager to implement AI workflows and manage the execution layer of the Head of Firm Management's portfolio. This role centers on making priorities visible, ensuring timely decisions, and delivering commitments without friction.

You will maintain a live view of commitments, design cadences with the Head of Operations, and ensure the operational leadership dimension is reliable, anticipatory and unobtrusive across the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in business operations, chief of staff, strategy or operations roles working directly to a senior leader, with the authority to act rather than to relay.
• Ability to drive new ways of working and design operating rhythms for a large portfolio.
• Strong judgment and ability to decline requests while maintaining relationships.
• Experience in professional services, law firm or equivalent complex stakeholder environment is a strong plus.
• Native or full professional English fluency required.
• Structured, systems-oriented mindset with clarity and not over-engineering.
• Discretion and composure handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• AI-Driven Process Innovation: Refine workflows, integrate AI tools for tracking, summarization, briefing and coordination.
• Demand and Priority Management: Manage inbound partner requests and firm issues with clear reasons for routing or closure.
• Leadership Operating Rhythm: Run committee prep, planning cycles, leadership meetings and reporting rhythms.
• Decision Support: Prepare concise, decision-ready materials and drive execution on decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with partners, senior lawyers, business services and external parties.
• Execution Ownership: Take initiatives end to end and report outcomes.
