Job summary

Syr - Shoreside Maritime Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of complex software development projects in a fully remote team. You will ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes, mentor junior PMs, and drive continuous improvement in the project management function.

The role requires a strong Agile background, leadership excellence, and a track record of managing software lifecycles across global projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Business Admin or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years in project management, with at least 5 years in software development projects.
Lead Project Manager or senior role experience with team leadership.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks; Scrum Master certification desirable.
Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Asana; excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple software projects from initiation to closure.
Develop project plans with scope, resources, risk management, and comms strategies.
Mentor junior project managers and drive process improvements.
Oversee budgeting, expenditures, and ensure delivery within constraints.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment and executive reporting.
Ensure quality assurance and performance of delivered software.
Promote Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) across teams.
