Syr - Shoreside Maritime Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of complex software development projects in a fully remote team. You will ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes, mentor junior PMs, and drive continuous improvement in the project management function.

The role requires a strong Agile background, leadership excellence, and a track record of managing software lifecycles across global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Business Admin or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in project management, with at least 5 years in software development projects.
• Lead Project Manager or senior role experience with team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks; Scrum Master certification desirable.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and Asana; excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple software projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans with scope, resources, risk management, and comms strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on software development projects.
• Proven experience in a Lead Project Manager or similar senior role, including team leadership.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of Agile frameworks (Scrum Master certification highly desirable).
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
