Allfunds is seeking an experienced Enterprise QA Architect to own the QA architecture, defining standards, frameworks, and automated testing strategies aligned with the evolving Software Development Life Cycle.

You will serve as the technical authority for QA across domains, providing expert guidance on architectural decisions, solution design, and compliance with established standards while mentoring a team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years in software quality assurance with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading and managing QA teams.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience designing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Hands-on with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, NUnit, pytest).
• Proficient defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services is highly desirable.

About the Role

Join the Enterprise Architecture team as the owner of the company’s Quality Assurance architecture, defining the standards, methodological frameworks, and technical solutions required to ensure a consistent, automated testing strategy aligned with the evolution of the corporate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The role will serve as the technical authority for QA teams across different functional domains, providing expert guidance and final-level support on architectural decisions, solution design, and compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Define, implement, and maintain QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for various projects.
• Oversee the entire software testing lifecycle, including functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in release planning and readiness activities, ensuring quality gates are met.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in software quality assurance.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for team members.

About You

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, NUnit, pytest).
• Proficiency in using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly banking or investment platforms, is highly desirable.
