Allfunds, a leading global wealth management platform, invites you to join the Enterprise Architecture team to support the Quality Assurance platform. You will focus on automation, continuous integration, and SDLC monitoring tools, with a primary emphasis on COBOL and GitLab environments.

The successful candidate will serve as the technical backup to the QA Solution Architect and will actively participate in defining and implementing new automation capabilities.

Formación

• 2+ years of QA or software testing experience.
• Strong SDLC understanding and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and scripts.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and plans for new features and fixes across applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking systems with dev team coordination.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to ensure test coverage.
• Review requirements and technical designs to provide timely feedback.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Monitor and report testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.

About the Role

Join the Enterprise Architecture team, providing technical support for the Quality Assurance platform. You will be responsible for the implementation and continuous evolution of automation, continuous integration, and SDLC monitoring tools, with a particular focus on COBOL and GitLab environments.

The successful candidate will serve as the technical backup to the QA Solution Architect and will actively participate in defining and implementing new automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across various applications and platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug‑tracking systems, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

About You

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.
