NSG Group in Sagunto, Spain, seeks a QA professional to join the Auto OE Spanish QA Team reporting to the QA Manager. You will coordinate quality activities, monitor costs and act as liaison between customers, QSEs and plants to resolve issues.

The role requires an engineering degree or technical diploma, at least 5 years in automotive quality, and fluency in Spanish and English. SAP knowledge and experience with APQP, ISO 14001 and IATF are valued.

• Engineering degree or technical diploma with ≥5 years' experience.
• Experience managing quality concerns in automotive industries.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of APQP, ISO 14001 and IATF standards.

Responsabilidades

• Define and coordinate sorting activities with internal or external resources.
• Monitor Quality Costs (Customer, Containment, Prevention).
• Act as the contact between Customer, QSEs and plants, coordinating communications on quality issues.
• Report to management daily/weekly.
• Own local projects and deliver requirements in scope, time and cost.
• Participate in product and process development and validation for plant projects.
• Notify the local Finance Controller of any charges.
• Be part of the local project team, coordinating activities and resources.
• Control project costs versus budget, including sub-contracted work.

Job Purpose

A vacancy has arisen within the Spanish QA Team in Auto OE, Sagunto. The successful candidate will report to the QA Manager and the location for the role is Sagunto, Spain.

This is an exciting opportunity to cooperate with the rest of QA team, as well as QSE,s, and in NSG satellite plants, including the customer quality reference.

In this position, the employee will be responsible for:

• Define & coordinate sorting activities with internal or external resources.
• Monitor Quality Costs (Customer, Containment, Prevention)
• He/she will be the contact between the Customer, QSEs & manufacturing plants, coordinating the communication with them in case of quality problems.
• Inform the management on regular basis (Daily, weekly, …).
• Ownership of local projects & delivery of the project requirements in term of specification, time & costs.
• Participates in development of product & process (including capex) for Plant / project to specification, cost & time, and validation
• Ensure local finance Controller is notified of any charge
• Be part of the local project team, demonstrating appropriate ownership (e.g. tooling, purchasing, PDE, …) planning & coordinating activities & resources.
• Control project costs -vs- budget (including costs of other plants where work is sub-contracted (e.g. support plants)

Requirements

• Engineering degree or technical diploma with work experience of at least 5 years;
• Knowledge of Customer Quality Procedures
• Be Fluent in Spanish and English (Verbal and written). The interview will be in Spanish with an English test
• Conflicts management (focuses on win to win solutions)
• SAP knowledge
• Knowledge on ISO 14001, IATF
• Min 3 years in management of quality concerns in the Automotive industry
• APQP process knowledge
