UST is seeking a QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems to ensure quality, reliability and performance.

You'll use Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Postman, SOAP tools, JMeter and SQL, collaborating with developers, product owners and analysts in an Agile environment to broaden automation coverage.

Formación

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer / SDET.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman and SOAP testing tools.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Create, execute, and monitor API tests using Postman and SOAP-based testing tools.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports using JIRA and Confluence.
