ERNI - Swiss Software Engineering in Barcelona seeks an automation specialist to strengthen our Healthcare solution. You will design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API and end-to-end tests, integrating execution into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with DevOps and development teams, with a hybrid office schedule and strong emphasis on mentoring, growth and learning.

Join our expert team to work on a Healthcare solution, contributing to the development of robust test automation frameworks and scalable quality processes. You will apply your knowledge of Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes to build reliable end-to-end automation and ensure software quality across complex distributed systems.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

We strongly encourage growth and continuous training. Each person has an individual development plan, mentoring, and access to internal technical communities. We aim for you to learn, experiment, and evolve within an environment where teamwork and support from more senior colleagues are key.

What you will bring

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Experience automating API testing and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS.
• Solid debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting skills across testing and deployment environments.
• Experience using AI tools to improve software development and test automation processes.

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks across UI, API and end to end testing while integrating automated execution into CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve quality, deployment and observability, troubleshoot complex technical issues and continuously optimize testing processes through automation and AI driven solutions.

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor’s appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
