Macadam in Barcelona is seeking a QA Engineer to own automation for our React Native app and TypeScript backend. You will bridge manual QA and deployment by building a robust automation layer, supporting a rapid release cycle while protecting user experience for millions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA with a strong automation focus, expertise in React Native, and experience with Maestro or Appium/Detox.

Formación

3+ years of QA Engineering with a heavy focus on Automation.
Mobile testing expertise with React Native; Maestro preferred or deep Appium/Detox knowledge.
Backend testing with TypeScript and REST APIs.
Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and bug tracking systems.
Fast-paced startup mindset; strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated test flows for the React Native app using Maestro.
Develop and manage automated API integration tests with TypeScript.
Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines to validate PRs before production.
Define automation vs manual testing strategy for high-impact regression and smoke tests.
Collaborate with Software Engineers to improve testability and participate in design reviews.
Analyze test results, investigate failures, and provide actionable feedback to teams.
