The Hoxton Poblenou in Barcelona is seeking a Purchasing Intern to support day-to-day housekeeping, maintenance and front office operations for 5–6 months from November 2026.

You will learn through hands-on tasks in stock management, deliveries, requisitions and cost control, while joining a vibrant hospitality team at The Hoxton. Internship includes meals, shift meals, and ongoing development opportunities.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• An eagle-eye for detail and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and check deliveries, ensuring quantity and quality meet standards.
• Keep storage areas organized and monitor stock levels and par stocks.
• Manage requisitions, delivery notes and transfers through Adaco.
• Oversee Food & Beverage and Non-F&B orders according to hotel needs and costs.
• Ensure products are stored and rotated following FIFO and HACCP standards.
• Review stock levels and product availability daily for outlets and departments.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of internal orders.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Bars, F&B and Operations teams to support daily operations.
• Assist with monthly inventories and departmental cost reporting.

The Hoxton Poblenou in the city of Barcelona is our 11th Hoxton. The hotel boasts 240 bedrooms of different sizes, a large restaurant Four Corners with The Slice shop and La Bodega, a rooftop pool and our taqueria Tope, a bright and airy lobby, a multi-functional basement events space and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events concept).

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• You’ll receive and check deliveries, ensuring quantity, quality and delivery conditions meet our standards.
• You’ll keep our storage areas organised and monitor stock levels and par stocks.
• You’ll manage requisitions, delivery notes and transfers through Adaco.
• You’ll oversee Food & Beverage and Non-F&B orders, taking into account the hotel’s operational needs and costs.
• You’ll ensure products are stored and rotated correctly, following FIFO and HACCP standards.
• You’ll review stock levels and product availability daily, anticipating the needs of our different outlets and departments.
• You’ll coordinate the preparation and delivery of internal orders.
• You’ll work closely with our Kitchen, Bars, F&B and Operations teams to ensure they have everything they need for their daily operations.
• You’ll support the team with monthly inventories, ad hoc stock analyses and departmental cost reporting.
• And, of course, you’ll help keep our storage areas organised, clean and efficient.
