Job summary

Frontiers seeks a Publishing Development Specialist to combine domain understanding with proactive outreach, working with researchers, editors and global communities to identify opportunities and generate high-quality submissions.

You will manage a dynamic sales pipeline, use AI tools to research prospects, and build long-term relationships with editors and authors, while representing journals at conferences and online events.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, outreach, or business development with a proven track record of hitting targets.
• Able to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and initiative-taking.
• Knowledge of AI-based tools in business operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to researchers and editors to spark collaborations and drive submissions.
• Manage a dynamic sales pipeline from first contact to publication.
• Use AI tools daily to research prospects and tailor outreach.
• Build long-term relationships with editors and authors.
• Represent Frontiers at conferences, webinars, and events to grow journals’ footprint.
