Stark Future in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, seeks an R&D Technician – Battery Assembly to join our on-site team. You will build complex prototype batteries, install sensors, run tests and keep the workshop organized in a fast-paced startup environment.

Applicants should have HV battery assembly experience, 4+ years as a technician, fluent Spanish and basic English, and a hands-on mindset to collaborate with engineers and operators. This role offers growth and an impact on premium EV tech.

Formación

• Technician, Electrician, Mechanic or EV technician education, or similar field experience in HV battery assembly.
• High voltage qualification in automotive.
• At least 4 years of experience as a battery, motorcycle or vehicle technician/mechanic — experience in e-mobility or racing is a plus
• Experience with high voltage battery assembly, tear-down and testing
• Familiarity with tools for data acquisition and most workshop processes and techniques
• Extremely organized, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, highly innovative environment (startups or high-tech companies)
• High standards for yourself and everyone you work with, constantly looking for ways to improve product performance, quality and cost
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; fluent Spanish and basic English is required
• Nice to have: experience with high voltage systems; experience working with batteries, inverters and/or motors; data logging experience; passion for technology

Responsabilidades

• Take full ownership of building up complex prototype batteries, installing sensors and setting up and performing tests with batteries
• Analyze and detect problems (electric and hardware) in batteries and repair them independently
• Support the development of batteries with assembly, tear-down and testing work according to tasks defined by related engineers
• Organize battery build-ups for testing and disassembling, including documentation
• Organize prototype parts with a clear place for everything
• Travel to test sites, and if necessary to dealers and distributors, when required
