Job summary

Drees & Sommer SE in Málaga, Spain, seeks a Project Manager for internal and external international digital projects. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex Digital and IT initiatives across countries, coordinate planning, scope, timelines and budgets, and lead cross-functional teams with senior stakeholders.

You bring a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of international PM experience, strong governance, and fluency in English (C1).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a comparable field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in international Digital or IT projects.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects and international stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of governance, scope, financial, risk, change and resource management.
• Experience with external vendors and implementation partners.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher (Spanish and/or German an advantage).
• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or a comparable certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of international Digital and IT projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Lead and coordinate project estimation and planning activities.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional and international project teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, across different cultures and business functions.
• Establish effective project governance and provide transparent reporting on progress, financials, risks and decisions.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes and drive them to resolution.
• Manage project financials and resource requirements, including forecasting and capacity constraints.
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners and ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines and responsibilities.
• Coordinate go-live, transition into operations and successful project closure.

The Project Manager – International Digital Projects is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex Digital and IT projects across multiple countries, business units and external partners.

The role requires strong project ownership, stakeholder management and the ability to drive successful delivery in an international and cross-functional environment.

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher is required; Spanish and/or German are an advantage
• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or a comparable project management certification is an advantage.
