Job summary

Drees & Sommer SE in Málaga is seeking an IT System Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). You will join a growing IT team delivering cloud-based solutions for diverse, international projects, focusing on security, automation, and standardization across infrastructure.

As part of the System Administration team, you will drive IAM programs, collaborate with global colleagues, and contribute to documentation and process improvements while supporting Azure, Entra ID, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT/computing.
• 3+ years of professional IT experience with Identity Management.
• Experience with Microsoft AD and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Azure and cloud-based identity solutions.
• Ability to work with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Support IAM initiatives including compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Assist in installation, configuration and administration of server, storage and backup systems.
• Monitor and support availability, performance and security of IT services.
• Collaborate on Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, M365, Exchange projects.
• Develop scripts to support automation and efficiency.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure projects and documentation.

As part of the System Administration team, you will support the administration and continuous improvement of server and cloud systems, ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of data and digital identities. With a focus on Identity Management, you will contribute to the standardization, automation, and optimization of IT services while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Become an active member of the System Administration Team
• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including compliance-related requirements such as ISO 27001
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and administration of server, storage, and backup systems
• Monitor and support the availability, performance, and security of IT services and infrastructure
• Collaborate on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange
• Develop and maintain scripts to support automation and operational efficiency
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, e.g. for migrations, expansions, and optimization initiatives.
• Creating technical documentation and guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, completed IT training, or a comparable qualification
• We also welcome career changers with a high affinity for IT, at least 3 years of professional experience, and a understanding of Identity Management processes and Application Security
• Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Good knowledge of Identity Management processes and access governance principles
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based identity solutionsAbility to work collaboratively in project environments and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• High level of English (C1) is required
