Auren is assisting with a rail transportation leader in Madrid to recruit a Project Manager. The role involves guiding projects from offer to completion, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company goals.

The successful candidate will manage bids, negotiations, and cross-site teams while tracking progress, budgets, and on-time delivery. Partial remote work options and professional growth are offered.

Formación

• Technical/Higher Industrial Engineering Degree.
• 1–2 years of experience managing industrial projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency required; SAP/MS Project knowledge desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare project bid calculations based on cost and effort estimations and pricing strategies.
• Negotiate offers and contracts with customers.
• Maintain close contact with customers and strengthen relations.
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams across sites and monitor progress.
• Oversee project Controlling and ensure on-time deliveries of deliverables.
• Elaborate action plans for deviations and participate in customer investigations.

We are currently collaborating with a leading rail transportation industry company based in Madrid., which is looking to add a Project Manager to its team.

About the Role:

The mission of the position is managing projects from the beginning (offer) until the end taking into consideration customer requirements, company’s targets, and project goals.

Functions:

• Preparation of project bid calculations based on cost and effort estimations and pricing strategies.
• Offer and contract negotiations.
• Keeping close contact to customers and building/strengthen customer relations.
• Leading an interdisciplinary project team across different sites.
• Monitoring of the project progress.
• Project Controlling.
• Ensuring budget compliance and on-time deliveries of all project deliverables.
• Elaboration of action plans in case of deviations.
• Involvement in customer complaint investigations.
• General logistics tasks.
• Order management in SAP.

Requirements:

• Technical/Higher Industrial Engineering Degree.
• Experience between 1-2 years managing industrial projects.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency.
• Knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project and knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Availability to travel (limited).
