Job summary
Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, seeks a Product Owner for Value-Added Payment Services in Madrid. You will lead a squad of engineers, define the backlog and roadmap, and collaborate with Architecture, Engineering and Operations.
The role requires 5+ years in Payments/FinTech, a STEM or Finance degree, and strong knowledge of payments ecosystems and microservices. Hybrid 60% on-site with strong growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking or Financial Services.
- Experience leading development squads and managing software delivery in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a squad of software engineers focused on payment orchestration capabilities.
- Own the functional vision, operational excellence and future roadmap of the payment services under your responsibility.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog in line with business objectives and customer needs.
- Develop deep expertise in the services, including their business processes, dependencies, performance and operational behavior.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve payment routing, operational efficiency, customer experience and service automation.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Business stakeholders to shape service evolution and the long-term platform strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the squad.
