Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, is seeking a Product Owner for Value-Added Payment Services in Madrid. You will lead a squad of engineers, own the service roadmap, and work with Architecture, Engineering and Operations to evolve the platform.

The role requires 5+ years in Payments/FinTech, a STEM/Finance degree, and strong English. The position blends on-site collaboration with flexible hybrid work and ample growth opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience leading development squads and delivering software in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Finance.
• English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Payments ecosystems and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate a squad of 5 software engineers focused on payment orchestration capabilities.
• Own the functional vision, operational excellence and future roadmap of the payment services under your responsibility.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog in line with business objectives and customer needs.
• Develop deep expertise in the services, including their business processes, dependencies, performance and operational behavior.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve payment routing, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Business stakeholders to shape service evolution and long‑term platform strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the squad.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Owner, Value-Added Payment Services , these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

• Lead and coordinate a squad of 5 software engineers focused on payment orchestration capabilities.
• Own the functional vision, operational excellence and future roadmap of the payment services under your responsibility.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Product Owner, Value-Added Payment Services to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid , with the following qualifications and background:

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking or Financial Services. (Required)
• Experience leading development squads and managing software delivery in Agile environments. (Required)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Finance. (Required)

Languages

• English proficiency. (Required)

Hard Skills

Required

• Strong knowledge of Payments ecosystems.
• Functional knowledge of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working within Agile Squads and product-led organizations.
• Experience defining product roadmaps, requirements and service evolution.

Preferred

• Practical understanding of AI applications in the Payments industry.
