Amaris Consulting is seeking a seasoned Product Owner in Madrid to own the product backlog, define the roadmap for payments and cards, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver innovative banking solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner managing digital products in complex environments.
• Proven experience within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Payments, Cards, Payment Methods, or related payment processing solutions.
• Experience managing product backlogs and roadmaps using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Fluency in Spanish and a good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for payment-related solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver innovative banking products.
• Gather and prioritize requirements related to payment platforms, card solutions, and transactional services.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product reviews within Agile teams.
• Ensure successful delivery of product increments while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and innovations in the banking and payments ecosystem.
