Job summary

Glovo in Barcelona is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to lead and continuously improve our procurement operations within the Global Procurement team.

You will manage a team of procurement professionals, partner with Finance, Technology and other stakeholders, and drive KPI-driven improvements across Source-to-Pay processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement Operations, Source-to-Pay, or Procure-to-Pay in an international organization.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and controls.
• Analytical mindset with KPI-driven decision making.
• Experience leading digitalisation, automation or transformation initiatives.
• Strong project and stakeholder management across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement operations, ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant execution from Requisition to Purchase Order.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Own operational KPIs and SLAs; use data to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Develop meaningful reporting and translate procurement data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Identify and lead opportunities to simplify, standardise, digitalise and automate procurement processes.
• Partner with Technology and other teams on process and system enhancements from requirements through adoption.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and internal controls and support audit readiness.
• Manage complex operational issues and escalations, driving root-cause resolution and sustainable solutions.
• Build cross-functional relationships as a key Procurement Operations partner to Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance Systems and the business.
