American Express is seeking a Senior Privacy Risk professional based in Spain to provide independent oversight and challenge over privacy risks in Digital Privacy, AI, and Emerging Technologies. You will engage with senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization to promote Privacy-by-Design and strengthen our privacy risk management framework.

The role reports to the Digital Privacy Director and requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in Privacy with focus on emerging Technologies.
• Experience with Digital Privacy, AI, and Emerging Technology risk management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent privacy risk oversight, strategic guidance, and consultation to American Express businesses globally, focusing on Digital Privacy and AI initiatives.
• Monitor and report privacy risk indicators and risk management data.
• Ensure adherence to privacy risk appetite and framework through oversight and 2LoD challenge.
• Review privacy risk assessments and mitigation strategies for digital initiatives and emerging tech deployments.
• Partner with Compliance and other stakeholders to oversee privacy regulatory changes.
• Promote Privacy-by-Design and share best practices across the enterprise.
• Support governance activities and reporting for enterprise privacy risks.
