GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Electrical engineer to operate real-time simulators, perform HIL and FAT, and develop protection and control relay configurations for diverse projects in the power systems sector. You will collaborate with international teams to troubleshoot complex scenarios and deliver robust test solutions.

The role offers exposure to transmission, distribution, and industrial studies, with opportunities to present technical papers and contribute to project reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in Electrical, Computer or Power Systems Engineering.
• At least 2 years in protection, control and automation.
• Strong understanding of power systems in transmission and distribution.
• Knowledge of protection relays, automation and communication protocols.
• Ethical, professional with customer focus and SOW proposal ability.
• Strong learning ability and collaborative approach.

Responsabilités

• Perform HIL tests with real-time simulator and FAT.
• Analyze and troubleshoot real-time simulation scenarios.
• Execute studies across transmission, distribution and industrial segments (short circuit, load flow, arc-flash).
• Create relay setting files and configurations for protection and control.
• Develop test setups, test plans and test cases with wiring diagrams.
• Prepare test and project reports and deliverables.
• Contribute to technical papers for conferences and venues.
