Job summary

eDreams ODIGEO, the world’s leading travel subscription platform, seeks a Platform Lead for its GITOPS team in Barcelona (hybrid). You will own the technical roadmap for corporate infrastructure, drive automation, and coach a high-performing team to deliver reliable services.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for AI-enabled operations. You will collaborate with SDOPS, Platform and other teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions,

Qualifications

5+ years in a leadership role within IT Operations or Service Management.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Excellent ability to articulate complex operational strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with budget management and driving improvements in fast-paced digital environments.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actions.
Fluent English level.

Responsibilities

Own the technical roadmap for Business Infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
Lead design, implementation and evolution of infrastructure platforms and core services.
Promote engineering best practices, standardization and automation across the infrastructure ecosystem.
Ensure availability, stability and performance of infrastructure services.
Drive continuous improvements through proactive problem management and operational excellence.
Lead major incidents and coordinate complex troubleshooting when required.
Identify opportunities to automate operations and promote AI-driven improvements.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
Foster ownership, accountability and collaboration across teams.
Bridge SDOPS, Platform and other GITOPS teams to align architecture and security.
