Job summary

eDreams ODIGEO is seeking a BestlaaS Lead to join the GITOPS team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will drive the Corporate Infrastructure strategy, lead a skilled team, and shape the automation journey with AI-driven improvements.

Success in this role means building a high-performance culture, delivering scalable infrastructure, and partnering with SDOPS, Platform, and other teams to align technical decisions with business goals. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leadership role within IT Operations or Service Management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent ability to articulate complex operational strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with budget management and driving improvement in fast-paced digital environments.
• Exceptionally strong analytically, comfortable finding the “so what” behind data.
• Demonstrates a high level of responsibility and determination to achieve ambitious objectives.
• Fluent English level.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for Corporate Infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability and security.
• Lead the design, implementation and evolution of infrastructure platforms and core corporate services.
• Promote engineering best practices, standardization and automation across the infrastructure ecosystem.
• Ensure the availability, stability and performance of infrastructure services.
• Drive continuous service improvements through proactive problem management and operational excellence.
• Lead major technical incidents and coordinate complex troubleshooting activities when required.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate infrastructure operations and reduce manual effort.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code, self-service capabilities and AI-driven improvements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across the infrastructure landscape.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers.
• Foster ownership, accountability, collaboration and technical excellence.
• Support the growth of future technical leaders within the team through coaching and mentoring.
• Act as the technical bridge between SDOPS, Platform and other GITOPS teams.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, networking and engineering teams for alignment.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
