SUSE is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager for Shared Services to lead the IT Platform Engineering team's portfolio of tools including GitLab, GitHub, Gitea, CI/CD, monitoring, Bugzilla, email infrastructure and backup. You will set technical direction, mentor staff, and ensure reliable operations across the portfolio.

Formación
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years managing engineering teams.
- Strong systems architecture and distributed systems experience.
- Experience with AI tooling adoption in IT operations.
- Familiarity with DevOps, IaC/GitOps, and FinOps concepts.
- Ability to remove roadblocks and coordinate across teams.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and mentor a junior-to-mid engineering team.
- Set technical direction and portfolio investments.
- Own the service portfolio as product manager, balancing features, ops, and toil.
- Drive SLO-based reliability and incident response.
- Lead AI adoption and scale practical use cases.
- Collaborate across ITPE and wider IT and business units.
- Apply FinOps thinking to optimize costs.
