Connect Vision International is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Digital Platform team responsible for building and improving robust cloud-native platform capabilities and shared engineering services.

The role sits between software development, cloud infrastructure and platform enablement; you will design, build and maintain platform components using AWS, Kubernetes, Java and TypeScript, automate CI/CD with Azure DevOps, and help ensure security, reliability and cost

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in senior engineering, platform engineering, full-stack engineering or a comparable role.
• Strong commercial AWS experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and Infrastructure as Code.
• Commercial software development experience using Java and TypeScript.
• Experience with automated testing and secure software delivery.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and improve cloud-native platform capabilities using AWS and modern software engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain applications and shared platform components using Java and TypeScript.
• Work extensively with Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.

We are currently looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a Digital Platform team responsible for building and improving robust cloud-native platform capabilities and shared engineering services.

This is a hands-on engineering role sitting between software development, cloud infrastructure and platform enablement. You will work closely with engineering teams to build scalable platform services, improve automation and establish secure and reliable engineering practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and improve cloud-native platform capabilities using AWS and modern software engineering practices.
• Develop and maintain applications and shared platform components using Java and TypeScript.
• Work extensively with Kubernetes, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Build scalable and maintainable infrastructure using AWS CDK and/or Terraform.
