Syngenta Crop Protection seeks a Staff Engineer, DevOps Platform to lead the shared CI/CD, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code platform, enabling engineering teams to deliver with confidence.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced technology and agricultural R&D, collaborating with engineers, product leaders and scientific stakeholders to accelerate sustainable agriculture and scientific innovation.

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers on the platform team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Drive security and compliance initiatives within the platform, ensuring infrastructure meets organizational and industry standards.

• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in security best practices and compliance frameworks within DevOps environments.
• Demonstrable experience in system architecture design and scalability planning for enterprise-level platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

• Experience in agriculture, life sciences, scientific computing or a regulated enterprise environment.
