TEICON Engineering GmbH is seeking a skilled Welding/Piping Inspector to support a major international project in Catalonia. You will monitor fabrication, welding, testing and quality control to ensure compliance with project specs, approvals, codes and client requirements.

Strong focus on traceability, documentation and NDT coordination across multiple disciplines. You will verify materials, inspect joints and pipe routing, witness tests and participate in punch-point closure and mechanical

Formación

• Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in welding and piping inspection on EPC/oil and gas projects.
• Knowledge of piping inspection activities, materials, specifications and quality documentation.
• Experience with fabrication, erection and installation at yards and industrial sites.
• Familiarity with welding inspection requirements, documentation and codes.

Responsabilidades

• Verify piping materials against drawings, specs and MTCs.
• Ensure material traceability throughout fabrication and installation.
• Inspect pipe fit-up, alignment, joint prep and tolerances.
• Verify routing, slopes, clearances and supports per drawings and project.
• Perform inspections during fabrication, erection and installation.
• Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, flushing and leak testing.
• Close NCRs and support corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection and quality records and maintain logs.
• Support client inspections and quality audits.
