American Express Global Business Travel in Spain is seeking an experienced meetings professional to lead pharmaceutical congresses and meetings from contract execution through final billing, coordinating timelines with clients and suppliers.

You will negotiate with hotels, congress venues, DMCs, and travel providers, supervise budgets and cross-functional teams, and travel up to 40% as needed to deliver high-impact programs for global healthcare clients.

Formación

• 3–5 years of meeting planning experience, including pharma meetings.
• Experience with major pharma congresses (ASCO/ESMO) preferred.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; familiarity with meeting industry tech.
• Strong presentation skills for management levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary client liaison for pharma meetings from contract execution to final billing.
• Establish timelines and coordinate with clients and suppliers.
• Negotiate hotel, congress, DMC, air travel contracts and monitor policies.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate program logistics.
• Manage program budgets, forecast financials, and audit billing.
• Lead cross-functional teams and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Evaluate program impact and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage VIP logistics as requested.
